As fast and cost effectively as possible, while minimizing risk and assuring maximum possible benefits.
Introduction
As you have found yourself on this page, there is a good chance that you are actively searching for information on implementing a project management office, or PMO as they are often called. You’ve come to the right place! We have helped set up or improved departmental and enterprise project management offices since the early 1980s.
Many companies are investigating a PMO because of the benefits they can receive, including:
- Reduced capital expenditures by increasing productivity and reducing waste;
- Establishing a competitive advantage by implementing mission critical systems faster;
- Increased quality of results by increasing ease of use and lowering operating cost of standard (yet differentiating) methods;
- Reduced risk by providing management better insight into problem areas much earlier, becoming proactive, rather than reactive.
The difficulty for most is determining where to start. Implementing an intelligent PMO is a project itself. As with any project, you must begin by defining your objectives and building your project around meeting those objectives. This service guides you through that process and provides you with the resources you will need as you move through the process.
